Ms. Pagán is the Founder and Principal of Vanesa I. Pagán Law PLLC, a business immigration law firm. Due to her wide range of immigration knowledge and experience, she has a diverse clientele and has been sought as an Expert Witness. Ms. Pagán has represented large, small and start-up companies, individual professionals, physicians, researchers, artists, and students as well as those seeking green cards through marriage. She provides strategic guidance on all matters of U.S. immigration and nationality law and compliance for companies employing foreign nationals in the United States. She has also makes appearances at USCIS offices for adjustment of status and naturalization interviews.
Ms. Pagán is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and provides pro bono representation at several of their co-sponsored immigration events throughout New York City. She frequently volunteers her services as an attorney for “NYC Know Your Rights Project” at Varick Federal Detention Facility, Haitian Temporary Protected Status (TPS) assistance projects, and CUNY/NYC Citizenship Now!, to name a few.
Ms. Pagán has traveled abroad extensively, lived and worked in Japan and Puerto Rico, and legally studied at the University of Havana Law School in Cuba. She brings a truly international perspective to the firm that resonates in the attention and care she provides to her clients and their individual immigration matters.
Prior to establishing her own practice, she was an Associate at a recognized multinational corporate immigration firm and an Associate at a prominent New York-based physician immigration firm.
